Review
Photo Effect Studio provides an easy way of applying artistic effects to your digital photographs. It offers a dozen different effects to help you enhance your photographs, allowing you to add colour, black and white, and texture effects, among others. Each effect applied can be customized by changing the by-default values.
This intuitive software is not intended for the professional photographer, as its functionality is limited. However, the number of effects available is enough to make your digital photographs stand out from the rest, just by adding basic textures, different colour configurations, blurring effects, or by adjusting the HSL values (Hue, Saturation, and Lighting). The results appear instantly on top of the original picture, though the source file remains intact until you save the changes.
This tool opens any JPG, BMP, WMF, EMF, and GIF files, and allows you to save your final work into JPG, BMP or WMF. Extra functionality includes the possibility of sending your retouched photographs by e-mail directly from this application, rotating the image, or changing its size. You can even set your active photograph as the by-default wallpaper in your computer! |
